COVID-19 UPDATES: India records 1.84 lakh cases and 1027 deaths in 24 hours

On Tuesday, India records its highest number of coronavirus cases at 1.84 lakh and 1027 deaths

The rising number of coronavirus cases in India has become a worry for its citizens. Yesterday, the country reported its highest number of cases at around 1,84,372 and 1027 deaths. The total tally of cases in India has reached 1,38,73,825, according to the Health Ministry of India. The number of people discharged in the last 24 hours are 82,339. This is the second wave of this deadly virus that has surrounded the country and made it the second most affected country in the world, followed by the United States.
 
The capital of India recorded around 13,468 fresh cases in the last 24 hours. Delhi's minister Kailash Gahlot too tested positive for the virus and he wrote, 'I have tested positive for Covid-19 today. I have home isolated myself. All those who came in contact with me recently please take necessary precautions.'

Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also tested positive this morning. He informed everyone on his official Twitter handle.
