Deepak Chahar and Yuzvendra Chahal re-write records to their name in the series decider against Bangladesh

Leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has become the fastest Indian bowler to take 50 T20I wickets, achieving the feat in the third T20I against Bangladesh on Sunday.

Pacer Deepak Chahar has become the first Indian to take a T20I hat-trick, achieving the feat by dismissing Bangladesh's Shafiul Islam, Mustafizur Rahman and Aminul Islam in three successive deliveries in the third T20I. The 27-year-old registered figures of 3.2-0-7-6, the best-ever bowling figures in T20I history. The previous record held by former Sri Lankan spinner Ajantha Mendis (4-2-8-6).

 
Leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has become the fastest Indian bowler to take 50 T20I wickets, achieving the feat in the third T20I against Bangladesh on Sunday. The 29-year-old, who registered figures of 4-0-43-1 in the match, reached 50 wickets in 34 innings. He overtook fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, who had reached 50 wickets in 41 innings.
 
India bagged the series after defeating Bangladesh by 30 runs in the series decider at Nagpur. Bangladesh will play two-match Test series against India which includes a Day-Night match the first-ever for India. They will play both matches at Eden Gardens. Kohli will lead the side in that historic match.
