The Delhi High Court ordered Yash Raj Films (YRF) Production to make some changes to Pathaan after its trailer debuted last week. The court has ordered the production firm to include 'subtitles, close captioning, and audio description in Hindi'. so that persons who are hard of hearing or have vision impairments can watch the movie on OTT platforms. It has requested that YRF submit the updated material for re-certification to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia, and Ashutosh Rana play the key characters. Siddharth Anand directs Pathaan. On January 25, 2023, it is scheduled to premiere in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

The court ordered the producers to submit the information by February 20 in accordance with Bar and Bench. Additionally, it mandated that the CBFC make a choice by March 10. The court made no rulings about the screening of Pathaan in theatres; the movie is scheduled to open on January 25.

The movie will start streaming on Prime Video in April, claims the report. The judge, therefore, remarked that the alterations can be made by the producers by then. 'To pass any instruction in respect of the theatrical distribution of Pathaan,' the court said in a statement.

The Pathaan crew recently presented the official trailer of the movie, which was met with a great reception from the audience. In the two-and-a-half-minute-long clip, John Abraham portrays a formidable foe who is plotting a significant strike in India. Shah Rukh and Deepika Padukone appear as spy agents defending India.

John Abraham is shown in the trailer wreaking havoc and warning of an impending invasion of Indian territory. India's response is to send Pathaan, one of its spies. The next scene depicts Shah Rukh's spy daringly escaping from prison with all weapons blazing.
