IPL 2021: Match between RCB and KKR postponed as two players test positive for Covid

The forthcoming match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Kolkata Knight Riders has been rescheduled as two of KKR’s players have tested positive for Covid and several others have complained of illness.

KKR’s Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier have reportedly tested positive for Covid and several other players including their star pacer Pat Cummins have complained of illness and are currently isolating. It is said that the entire KKR camp will have isolate now but the franchise is yet to comment about the same.
“Official Announcement:
Today’s match between KKR and RCB has been postponed by the BCCI as per IPL Safety Guidelines after Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier tested positive for COVID.
We wish Varun and Sandeep a speedy recovery,” Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s Twitter handle posted.
The latest development pertaining to the KKR camp has put the ongoing season in jeopardy and there is a chance of the ongoing season behind canceled or postponed indefinitely.
As of now, KKR vs RCB’s match is the only one to be postponed and there is no updates so as to the forthcoming fixtures.
