A video from Mumbai airport shows American singer Katy Perry leaving India during the early hours of Sunday after her concert in the city.
As she makes her way towards the gate, the security personnel asked her for her passport. The singer stops for a brief moment and then walks in without presenting the passport.
After giving a power-packed performance at OPMF, Katy Perry had seen leaving India at the Mumbai airport. The singer papped at the airport in the same grey tracksuit that she wore when she arrived in India.
In the video, we can see Katy giving an autograph to a fan while another fan was requesting a photograph. As she moved towards the gate, security personnel asked her for her passport. The singer apparently ignored him and pointed towards her assistant, who was right behind her. Right after the video surfaced online, netizens started to comment alleging that Katy ignored the security personnel at the airport.
One of the users wrote, 'It's so pathetic to see how they pass the security personnel.' Another user wrote, 'Yes she is an international superstar but that gives her no right to disobey Indian laws and security protocols.' At the concert, the Grammy-nominated singer sang some of her best hits of all time, which include Last Friday Night, Bon Appetit, Supernatural, California Gurls and I Kissed A Girl, amongst others. While performing, she donned a green off-shoulder jumpsuit and she paired it up with a high pony-tail and soft glam makeup.
