TS Rajasekaran, a retired regional medical researcher from Tamil Nadu, wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi inviting him to his daughter's wedding scheduled for September 11.

Now, just a few days before the big day, the Rajsekarans are over the moon after PM Modi replied to the wedding invitation.
Besides thanking the family for sending an invite, the prime minister wished the couple a future filled with “prosperity and wonderful shared experiences”.
PM Modi replied to the invite with a letter that read, 'It's my pleasure to learn about the wedding of your daughter...Thank you for inviting me on this momentous occasion.'
“As they start this new phase in their lives, I pray that the journey is filled with prosperity and wonderful shared experiences. I wish they move ahead in their life with joy and happiness,” the letter added.
After receiving the letter Rajasekaran told the reporters that it was a huge surprise for him. The Rajsekarans said they were well aware of the fact that PM Modi’s busy schedule wouldn’t allow him to attend the wedding, but his reply was good enough to make them happy.
