PM Modi Leads Massive Roadshow In Delhi

Before an important BJP national executive meeting in the nation's capital, Prime Minister Narendra Modi staged a massive roadshow in Delhi. Prior to the roadshow, BJP leader JP Nadda spoke at the National Office Bearers' meeting. The Prime Minister's roadshow was held between Sardar Patel Marg and the NDMC Convention Centre in Central Delhi. Prominent BJPs are all in attendance for the event. Visuals from the massive event showed a sea of people gathered among four layers of security. Those attending included passionate partygoers and locals. For the occasion, the Delhi Traffic Police had created detailed arrangements. As part of the traffic arrangements planned for the roadshow, eight roads, were momentarily closed, according to officials. According to police, 'traffic would be impacted in Lutyens Delhi. Police have arranged required diversions,' according to a news article. “BJP is organizing a road show from Patel Chowk to Sansad Marg and Jai Singh Road junction from 3 pm on Monday. Special traffic arrangements will be in place in the area around the road show’s route,” the Delhi Traffic Police said. A teenager was observed running toward the prime minister last week as he was leading a roadshow in Hubbali, Karnataka. The incident has been raising questions about his safety. However, the police eventually claimed that everyone had been searched and frisked. Thus police claimed that the occurrence could not be considered a security violation. “Those who were allowed inside the barricade were checked. And this teenager had permission to approach the Prime Minister as per the original plan. But we will submit a report to the SPG as per protocol,” an officer said. The youth was seen rushing toward the Prime Minister with a garland.
