The Gyanwapi Masjid case will be heard by the Supreme Court tomorrow. The petition is being considered as the order sealing the place where the Shivalinga is said to have been found expires tomorrow. On May 16, an interim order was issued to seal the place where the Shivlingam is said to have been found. Vishnu Shankar Jain mentioned it to Chief Justice DY Chandrachud before it ends tomorrow. With this, it has been announced that a special bench presided over by the Chief Justice will hear the petition tomorrow. The hearing will be held tomorrow at 3. Many petitions from Varanasi Court to the Supreme Court are pending concerning the Gyanavapi Masjid. The Supreme Court will hear the plea seeking the protection of the place where Shivlingam is said to have been found.
Meanwhile, the Varanasi District Court had rejected an application for carbon dating in the Gyanvapi Masjid case last month. The court rejected the need for scientific testing to determine the age of an object similar to the Shivalinga. The Hindu women petitioned for the right to worship on the grounds of the Gyanwapi Masjid, along with the demand for carbon dating. According to the order of the Supreme Court dated May 16, this part is proposed to be sealed. Therefore, District Judge AK Viswesha passed an order saying that the application cannot be accepted. It has been clarified that the other party will approach the Supreme Court against this.
