Farmer Sets Fire To Crop in Karnataka

Frustrated over the lack of prices, a tomato farmer in Karnataka's Nelamangala set his tomato crop on fire. The farmer, Marigowda had leased ten acres of land to cultivate tomatoes anticipating good returns with wedding season ahead. But the lockdown induced to curb the pandemic has destroyed his prospects.
